This weekend at the annual food and nutrition conference (FNCE) I had the pleasure of hanging out with Anne, one of my grad school besties, some adorable new blog friends, Kylie, Gretchen & Kristina, and meeting a few of my biggest RD-crushes ever: Lindsay, Monica, Holley, Regan and Sally. I know it’s late but after being surrounded by such positive, accomplished and influential dietitians all weekend, this Monday Mantra simply needed to happen–just disregard the fact that it’s now one minute until Tuesday. #betterlatethannever
Who in your life challenges you? Makes you a better person? Brings a smile to your face?
What a fantastic weekend! Meeting your RD-crushes must have been such a highlight. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Love that mantra! Where do you find these?
I think my boyfriend is the one that is always challenging me to be a better person, and I’m happy to do the same for him as well. My mom has always supported me to overcome challenges. Lastly, my CrossFit family is amazing, hands down.
Great mantra! My husband is definitely the one person I can count on to push me, challenge me, and support me with pretty much everything. My mom, dad, and sister are also amazing in this regard. They all believe in me and what I can accomplish, especially when I doubt myself the most.
Love this. I am a firm believer that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with, and I think this quote says it all.
Such a great thought!
This post really made me think about the people in my life who make me better. It’s an important perspective to have for those times in life when you feel overwhelmed because too many people want too much.
Awesome mantra! So true!
I agree! Great mantra for everyday :D
Amazing!! I love this :)
