It’s six o’clock in the morning, and I’m sitting by the fire with a strong cup of coffee enjoying a few quiet moments before the daily chaos of life with two kids begins.
As I scroll through our newborn family photos, I’m in awe of how much Inès has changed in the past ten weeks, which of course makes me wish I could pause life for a while and bottle up her newborn yumminess before it’s gone forever.
Thankfully we have these photos.
When looking for a photographer here in Bend, I knew from the beginning I wanted someone who could capture our family in our natural environment: hanging at home, in our comfy clothes —through a slightly more idyllic lens of course. We’re happy to forget the sleepless nights and uptick in toddler tantrums those first few weeks.
Our photographer, Yvette Siele, did a fantastic job, and we couldn’t be more pleased with how they turned out. I have so many favorites, it’s going to be hard deciding which ones to add to our gallery wall. Here are a few!
PS. It’s now 7:30am and both kids are STILL SLEEPING. YAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!
Love these photos! Those newborn days are so precious! May I ask where you found your gorgeous dress?
