Fresh fruit & veggie boxes
A couple of weeks ago I signed up for a twice-monthly fruit and veggie box from Farm Fresh to You. They both grow and partner with local farms to deliver fresh, organic produce to residents and businesses all over the Bay Area. The best part about it? I get to customize each box, choosing what and how much produce I want and when I want it––which is perfect for those weeks we’re too busy to make it to the farmer’s market!
New workout tees
This North Face running tee from Swim Outlet has quickly become a workout wardrobe favorite. It’s soft, sweat-wicking and for $25, I might get it in yellow, too!
Food & Wine
I’ve literally read this issue cover-to-cover twice now and want to make everything, particularly this Butternut Squash and Tangelo Dip with Sage.
Bold lips
I’ve always loved the look of a bold lip but for some reason, lipstick has never looked quite right on me. After years of gravitating towards glosses, I recently discovered (and instantly fell in love with) this not quite sheer, but not quite opaque colored lip balm from Clinique. I’m a huge fan of the Budding Blossom for a subtle pop of pink and Heftiest Hibiscus for date nights or a girls night out. I highly recommend, especially if you’re a little leery of bold lipsticks too.
Examine.com Research Digest
Ever wonder how busy RDs can stay on top of the latest nutrition research? I’ve been loving Examine.com Research Digest. It’s a must-have for anyone that takes nutrition seriously. I use it myself and find it super helpful for writing nutrition-related blog posts covering current topics. Check it out–they’re offering 20% off subscriptions for ATE readers through next Tuesday!
I totally feel you on the lip gloss / lipstick debate. Do you know of any brands that create similar products but are more natural? xx

Try Tarte! I love their tinted moisturizer but, strangely enough, I found their natural lip color irritates my lips. :(
Great post! I just happened to see this as my hubby and I were discussing whether or not to enroll in organic fruit and veggie delivery near us. I think it’s a sign… ;)
Fresh fruits and veggies are pretty hard to regret!
Hi Elle! Hope you’re having an awesome Thanksgiving. I love your favorites. And you know, I’ve always wanted to get some produce delivered to me. Not putting it on my Christmas list this year, but maybe in the future. :)
