DIY: tank top organization

Hi guys! Sorry, no midweek eats post today. I’ve been bustling around the house the past two evenings after work, getting organized for my fiancé’s move home this weekend.  I just couldn’t get my stuff together in time to post a new recipe today but there might be one for tomorrow!

Since I’ll be losing some closet space (which I’m totally okay with in this situation!) I’ve been on a mission to go through my clothes, donate things I no longer wear and better organize the ones I’m keeping. I have quite the collection of tank tops & camis which are always a source of folding frustration for me but especially so in the summer since I practically live in tank tops! No matter how neatly I fold them they inevitably end up in a pile like this after rifling through them a couple of times. Stacking them by color doesn’t even help.

While picking a few things up at Target the other day, I spotted these shower curtain hooks and was hit with a brilliant idea.

I snagged a pack, ran home and started dividing my tanks up by color.

How beautiful is this?

No more folding necessary. What’s even better is that I no longer have to dig for that one tank in particular that I’m looking for! These hooks are awesome. They’re easy to open but still hold a decent amount of weight. Just find the tank you’re looking for, spin it around to that spot, open the hook and slip it off.

I even found another use for them, which I’ll post later this week. Have a great rest of your day!
